So, I've got my things packed and everything. Souvenier shopping for people I meet along the way is also finished. c: The plan now is to take two check ins and once I arrive at Narita I'm gonna have my biggest suitcase delivered to my apartment. I checked in with the international office and they said as long as they deliver it after I move it, it's cool. And they gave me my address early! YEAH.
In terms of getting places, I mapped out how I'm getting from Kansai International to Guesthouse U-en, then from U-en to the apartment. But in the most recent email from the school it looks like they want us to meet on campus, which resulted in rerouting, but in the end the travel time is shortened. They also gave me a map to give to the taxi driver going from the station, haha.
A lot of the train itineraries I got are from http://www.hyperdia.com/en/ which I learned about from my buddy Clara's blog. It's basically a trip planner for Japanese transit only it's in English! Very useful. <3 Speaking of which, go check out Clara's blog. She's in Tokyo going to Keio right now! http://clarajapan.blogspot.com/
In other news, I turn the precious American age of 21 tomorrow. Most of it will be spent with family, but I will most definitely make it to a bar with my good buddy Hunter that night! BWAHAHA. I only need the equivalent of 2 beers to last me the whole night.... Occasionally my brother likes to be really funny and nice and it makes me remember that he does indeed love me like the little sister I am. So in order to make life difficult he bought me a giant gummy bear to finish in the five days before I leave for Japan. OTL
